She will be attending West Virginia University for a Masters in Geology this fall, and intends to earn a PhD and pursue a career as a professor. Riley has been a member of the Aikido Club and has committed countless hours volunteering in the Sternberg Museum.
"The most influential people in my college success have been, in no particular order: Kevin and Kathay, Dr. Laura Wilson, my parents, the Geoscience Department, Dr. Giovani Lopez, and Dr. Aly Baumgartner. These people have all given me great advice and helped me pursue opportunities for personal and academic growth."
This spring Riley was a finalist for the FHSU Torch Award, a testament to her hard work and dedication. She has served in many roles here on campus and is always a stalwart supporter of Honors College students and other Tigers. We're grateful for all Riley's support and we wish her the best of luck in West Virginia! You'll do amazing!
