Student of the Month: Alec Bevis

Alec is a senior from Wichita, studying biochemistry. When he's not busy on the soccer field, he's busy in the lab. He makes it look so effortless, but we know he's putting in long hours on both fronts.

He's been recognized many times over for his work as a student, and anyone that follows our FHSU soccer team, well...that speaks for itself. Alec is no stranger to getting the job done. If there was an award for "Best Hair", he'd get that one too.

Alec kindly gave us a few minutes of his time during this very busy soccer season to answer our VERY deep and thoughtful questions:

What three things can you not live without?

Family, friends, and my dogs.

If you could travel in time, would you go forward or back?

Definitely forward, and see how we have progressed.

What’s your favorite class and/or favorite thing about FHSU so far?

For me, the favorite thing I’ve experienced in my time here is how much the chemistry department faculty cares about you as both a student and a person. They truly want you to succeed in the classroom and in life. Traveling for soccer involves missing a ton of class, but my professors have always gone above and beyond in helping me catch up on everything I missed.
