We're pleased to offer our congratulations to Isabella Kester, a graduating senior majoring in Psychology.
Originally from Adams, Nebraska, Isabella has distinguished herself through academic excellence and a strong commitment to understanding and supporting mental health. In recognition of her achievements, she was named the College of Health and Behavioral Sciences Outstanding Student Award recipient for 2025.
Following graduation, Isabella plans to pursue a career in mental health case management, where she hopes to apply her academic knowledge and hands-on experience to advocate for individuals and communities in need of support and resources.Isabella credits her success to the encouragement and unwavering support of her parents, April and Bradley Kester, who motivated her throughout her academic journey. She also extends heartfelt thanks to Professors Jisook Park, Will Stutterheim, and Gina Smith in the psychology department for opening doors to meaningful research opportunities and professional experiences that helped shape her career goals.
We applaud her dedication to mental health advocacy. We
are proud of all she has achieved and look forward to the positive impact she will make in her field.
